The mission of Yale Geriatrics at Yale University School of Medicine is to improve the function, independence, and quality of life of older persons. Yale Geriatrics trains resident physicians, medical students, fellows, and attending physicians in the most effective care of the elderly, promotes innovative multidisciplinary research programs, trains junior investigators to become future leaders, and offers our patients the highest level of clinical care.

Career Opportunity
Geriatric Medicine at Yale School of Medicine is seeking a well-trained Clinical Educator at the Assistant Professor Level.  Geriatric Clinical Fellowship training is required.  This physician will work with Yale faculty in developing and implementing educational interventions to enhance the knowledge and skills of Yale students and resident physicians.  They will provide clinical care to vulnerable older adults cared for by Yale New Haven Health in inpatient and ambulatory settings such as the inpatient unit, home care program, consult service and emergency department.  This clinician will serve persons in the greater New Haven community utilizing the Yale New Haven Health System.
